Here is a really interesting article on the qualities women offer as leaders and why research by two contributors to Harvard Business Review suggests they make better leaders than their male counterparts.

This article will provide a really interesting alternative perspective on this core BUSS4 topic, and perhaps also help colleagues challenge some of the rather stereotypcial attitudes they may encounter from students.

I also like the article because it helps students to identify the ‘core competencies’ that effective senior leaders need to possess.  It would work really well alongside investigation in to the leadership of notable female business leaders such as Irene Rosenfeld (Kraft) and Indra Nooyi (Pepsico).

Read the article here.  It is also well worth following Harvard Business Review on Twitter if you don’t follow them already.
