Whose mission statement is this?
“Our company exists to quickly and reliably coordinate virtual content without losing sight of our original goal to collaboratively create emerging data.”
We exist to create unique deliverables that we may improve our long-term ability to manufacture methods of empowerment.
I’m aware that several colleagues are now moving onto more strategic parts of their GCE specifications in advance of the June tests. Sooner or later you’ll want to cover mission statements. Here’s a fun online activity that can get students questioning what mission statements are all about - an automated mission generator that makes full use of many of the irrelevant jargon that Boards and Management Consultants like to use. Can your students make any sense of the outputs? Could they take a generated statements and edit it to make it understandable and credible?
We'll use this Series to curate resources that support teachers and students preparing for the BUSS4 Section A Research Theme on Manufacturing in the UK (June 2015). These resources will complement our popular BUSS4 Section A Toolkit on Manufacturing and the BUSS4 Exam Coaching Workshops which also include sessions on Manufacturing.
